The Barcelona Burlesque Meeting & Festival was not created with the aim of being another Burlesque festival to which Europe is increasingly (luckily) accustomed to us. The Festival is the consequence of the enormous talent that we managed to bring together in this space, but our essence is the Meeting .

In 2017, a dinner between our Directors - Jordi González and Lulú Txispún - and their friend, the American performer Sgt. Die Wies, put on the table (and never better said) the need to maintain contact despite the distance, and of Re-meet regularly either during the holidays, to celebrate a birthday or to verify that the flame of his madness is still burning. One thing led to another and that dinner ended with the challenge of organizing an International Burlesque meeting in Barcelona. Challenge accepted.

The first edition was held in October 2018 and ended with a resounding success. We bring together artists from the United States, Austria and the entire national scene. This Meeting allowed us not only to be able to see the artists on stage, but to share space and words with them, carry out Workshops, activities and meet them off stage . Your opinions and good words mean that, this time with a bigger table, we will meet again. Artists from 10 countries, many surprises, an elite jury, workshops, gifts and the desire to create another unique experience .
